For Xiaomi Germany I was in charge to translate not only product pages but also localize all slogans for individual products, entire product series as well as their campaigns.
While some of the translation work was very straightforward, adjusting for the German market also included adapting slogans to better fit with local cultural norms. The latter was especially important when advertising wearables which offer certain health-related features which have to be described carefully in order to adhere to German and EU regulations regarding healthcare products.
